PublicPissPoster Treasures Join Our Street Festivals

Some of you may already have noticed: a few weeks ago, we began releasing selected footage from our PPP archives as part of the Street Festivals series.

Our archives still hold plenty of scenes filmed more than ten years ago—including some that are simply too good to leave unseen. With only four or five PPP compilations released each year, and those normally featuring footage from the previous two years, these older discoveries rarely get their moment in the spotlight.

We decided it was time to change that.

Older footage doesn’t mean lower resolution. Until around five years ago, we released our PPP videos in 720p to keep file sizes manageable and download times shorter for customers with slower internet connections—even when the original footage was recorded at a higher resolution. The selected scenes have never been released before and will now be presented in Full HD, using the original high-resolution recordings.

The first release received a very encouraging response, so more selections will follow. If you enjoy the lively atmosphere of our PPP videos, keep an eye on the upcoming Street Festivals clips. There are still some worthwhile discoveries waiting in the archives!
